Reader matter:

i have been matchmaking this guy since last June. We come across both twice weekly for several many hours and text both everyday.

We have been both separated and also have children, therefore we normally just get one “alone time” day. I’ve just been divorced for a year and a half. He is already been separated for eight years.

Can it be wrong of us to wish more, or am We being selfish?

Dr. Wendy Walsh’s Solution:

Dear Robyn,

There are no rights or wrongs right here. Only your own important feelings.

Naturally its OK to want even more, but it’s in addition great you two tend to be putting young kids first rather than pulling them through a grownup relationship which could or is almost certainly not forever.

Alternatively, I get the sensation you could make more time for him, but the guy doesn’t want much more.

Plus the response to which to talk about it with him. Discuss your emotions about your needs, just in case he ignores your requirements, then you can have to consider the possibility long-lasting fulfillment inside commitment.
